Love how the buttons are touch sensitive, The 50k-1 ration is amazing, along with 2ms response time. The monitor is sleek and will go decor. The screen is very bright and has no bleeding of light on the edges. Was going get the 24 inch but the 23 inch was 80 dollars cheaper, I can't tell the difference. Definitely worth buying and a plus no dead pixels unlike our Sony 42 inch t.v. we bought a few months ago.
One must be mindful of the fact that the M237WD-PM is a dual-use monitor: computer and HDTV. It appears to me that even "professional" reviewers on the Internet forget that very important fact and are, as a consequence, at once, inappropriately critical of some of the monitor's features and performance while expecting the monitor to perform in a manner beyond the scope of its design. The second important fact that appears to elude reviewers is that, at 23 inches, the monitor is a so-called kitchen/bedroom or personal monitor.
Ever since upgrading my motherboard (AMD 5600+) and video card (Nvidia GeForce 8600), I've been thinking about getting a new widescreen monitor to replace an old 17" Samsung SyncMaster 713v. This became even more important when I started editing HD video and digital photographs. Then two weeks ago I picked up an LG GGW-H20L, a combo Blu-ray writer/HD DVD-ROM drive. I had to upgrade my monitor. I wanted a slightly larger display but, more importantly, one with full 1920x1080 HD resolution. Since this is a desktop monitor, I was looking for something 20-22".
The Samsung T260HD is the best monitor I've ever owned. I was using dual 19 inchers (Samsung 940BX and Samsung 971P) and this blows both of them away. I'm an amateur photographer and my photos look amazing on this monitor -- big screen, high resolution, clear bright colors. The images are very sharp and detailed. There is so much detail in the images, it's almost like being there. Photos have more detail in both the highlights and shadows than any other monitor I have used. I love this monitor.
rated this 5 stars for the quality of these monitors. After using the Dell 2007WFP and Samsung 204B for many years it was time for me to upgrade to a better monitor. I've done a lot of research on different monitors and the quality of these monitors are outstanding. I use it primarily for photo editing and gaming. After using color correction tools and comparing the photo from the printouts and digital photos on the monitor, the colors are very accurate.
installed this TV behind the sink in my kitchen. I thought maybe I could watch the news while I washed the dishes. I now have a tall stool in my kitchen and watch TV way too much. This is simply one of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen, and I'm a Photographer. This is bargain for the money. The sound is good, it would be nice if the sound amp was a little bigger. But if it was, then I would never leave the kitchen. "Perfect" for the job and place is an under statement. Makes me want to have two kitchens, LOL. Hmm, maybe the bathroom. Then I would be Fat and Clean. BTW 24" would have been to tall to fit under the cabinets.
